The All Follow-Up Outcomes area displays students with a left date and outcome cohorts in their student record. Records cannot be opened, created or edited at the All Follow-Up Outcomes area.
There are four outcomes measures:
•Entered Employment
•Retained Employment
•Obtained a GED or secondary school diploma
•Entered postsecondary education or training
IMPORTANT NOTE: Cohorts went into effect on 7/1/2012, and replaced goals for outcome measure tracking. Students with goals set 7/1/2012 or later DO NOT count as an outcome measure and do not display on the grid. Outcome goals may be set for agency or state outcome measure tracking but do not count on NRS Table 5.
After signing in to LACES NexGen, go to More on the area menu and select All Follow-Up Outcomes from the list to go to the All Follow-Up Outcomes area. All records display by default.
All Follow-Up Outcomes records on the grid may be filtered by using grid row filtering. This allows you to perform searches on specific columns without creating a search. For more information about adding and applying searches, go to Search.
Two shared views display on the view options dropdown list. For more information about views in general, or creating new views, go to View Manager.
Searches
There are four pre-defined searches available at the All Follow-Up Outcomes area:

Displays only students who have a SSN entered in their student record |

Displays only students who do not have a SSN entered in their student record |

Left Date in Current FY |
Displays only students whose left date is in the current fiscal year. The fiscal year is determined by the agency’s fiscal year settings.

NRS Reporting Year |
Displays only students who will count on the NRS reports for the current reporting year. This number of students will ‘roll.’ For example, the NRS reports are due on 12/31 each year for the previous fiscal year. On 1/1, the reporting period has passed and the students who are eligible to report will change.

All Follow-Up Outcomes Toolbar
The toolbar at the All Follow-Up Outcomes grid allows you to:
•Subset or omit a selection of records
•Export a selection of records to CSV
•Open the Report Manager (There are no reports available at the All Follow-Up Outcomes area.)
