The current selection of records may be exported to CSV format and saved to your computer as a file. The export typically opens in Excel and may be saved with the .csv or . xlsx extension. (Remember that the current selection may span multiple pages.) Exporting records is one method of creating ‘customized’ reports, since the view may be changed prior to exporting.
How the file opens or saves after the records are exported is dependent on your browser setup and is independent of the export function itself. Follow the instructions for your browser to set the download options.
You must have either Excel or an Excel viewer, or other compatible software to export to CSV.
To export:
1. Change the view, if applicable.
2. Display the records to export.
3. From the Export toolbar, click ‘CSV.’.
4. Follow the instructions from your browser to open the file, or save the file.
